Last week, KMITL joined hands with leading Thai and international partners to host the “Farming the Future with KMITL Forum 2025” in Chumphon — marking a major step toward building Thailand’s next-generation Climate-Resilient & AI-Driven Agriculture.

Held at Nouveau Chumphon Beach Resort, the forum brought together 80+ stakeholders from government agencies, farmer networks, universities, industry leaders, and international organizations. The event served as a platform to align national ambitions, global best practices, and local strengths to transform Chumphon into a Living Lab for Future Agri-Food Innovation.

We were honored to welcome keynote speakers from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), Wageningen University & Research (WUR) , and German–Thai Agricultural Cooperation (GETHAC) , who shared powerful insights on:

• Climate-resilient agriculture
• Future Farm Philosophy
• How networks unlock scalable agricultural innovation

These perspectives reinforced the importance of learning together and building a market-driven, science-based agricultural ecosystem for Thailand.

The dynamic panel discussion brought together farmers, digital agriculture associations, local enterprises, and KMITL academics to explore how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and AI can improve productivity, restore agroecology, and build fair, future-ready value chains. This collaborative energy reflects the heart of “Farming Future Together with KMITL” — a platform integrating science, technology, and global knowledge to uplift farmers’ livelihoods and strengthen sustainable agri-food systems.
